Sports and recreation
A standard outdoor playfield and a small indoor sports hall serve every UG and PG student of the campus, with inter-college fixtures across the four districts.
Infrastructure
- Outdoor field for cricket, football, hockey, and athletics.
- Indoor hall for badminton, table tennis, chess, and carrom.
- Volleyball, basketball, and kho-kho courts.
- Gymnasium with strength and cardiovascular equipment.
Fixtures and tournaments
- Inter-college Sports Meet: annual, hosted on rotation by the four districts.
- Inter-University Sports: University team participation in AIU events.
- Founder's Cup: inter-departmental, held in the Founder's Day week (1 July).
Physical education
Physical education is offered as a foundational credit under the FYUGP framework. Students are introduced to the Khelo India fitness assessment.
