Academic Calendar
The Academic Calendar is notified by the Registrar at the beginning of each Academic Year and amended only on resolution of the Academic Council. The 2026-27 calendar set out below is the working draft submitted by the Office of the Vice-Chancellor for ratification at the next sitting of the Academic Council.

Odd Semester · July to December 2026

| 5 to 18 December 2026 | End-semester practical and theory examinations. |

Convocation
The Annual Convocation of the University is scheduled to be held in March 2027 on a date to be notified by the Office of the Registrar. This will be the first Convocation under the new University Act and will confer degrees on the inaugural batches of postgraduate students.
Holiday list
The University observes the holidays notified by the Government of Odisha for State Government offices, in addition to the Founder's Day on 1 July each year. The consolidated holiday list is published as an annexure to the Academic Calendar PDF.
