Central Library
The Central Library is the consolidated knowledge resource of the University. Holdings cover the disciplines taught on campus and the research themes pursued by the Departments.
Holdings
- Books: over 80,000 print volumes; cataloguing through Koha (open-source ILS).
- Periodicals: current subscriptions to over 120 academic journals across the disciplines taught on campus.
- Theses and dissertations: open-access through ShodhGanga (INFLIBNET).
- Special collections: Vikram Deo Verma Memorial Collection on the Jeypore Estate; Koraput tribal-studies archive.
Digital resources
- INFLIBNET N-LIST: full-text access to over 6,000 e-journals and e-books for postgraduate and research scholars.
- DELNET: inter-library lending across the DELNET network of over 7,000 member libraries.
- NDLI (National Digital Library of India): institutional access.
- SWAYAM: facilitated learner enrolments and credit-bearing course access.

Accessibility
The Library operates an Accessible Reading Centre with assistive technology including screen-reader workstations (NVDA), magnification software, and a refreshable Braille display. Print-impaired students may request priority document conversion under Section 52(1)(zb) of the Copyright Act, 1957. The Library is committed to compliance with the Marrakesh VIP Treaty, 2013, as ratified by India.
Membership
Membership is automatic on registration with the University or any affiliated college. External readers may apply for short-term access through the University Librarian; reciprocal arrangements exist with libraries of the University Grants Commission's INFLIBNET network.
