The brief

Roobaroo is a fine dining restaurant in Jeypore. The name comes from the Urdu rubaru, the quality of two people being face to face. The owner wanted a site that felt like the restaurant: unhurried, intentional, slow. No reservation platform clutter, no stock photos of food, no "now open" pop ups.

What we built

A small site in Next.js, exported static, hosted on Vercel. Five pages, typography led, with the brand language of "the art of quiet" carried through every surface. The hero leads with the experience (an evening under fairy lights) rather than a menu shot. The reservation flow is one button.

Why it is here

Not every Kinyoubi engagement is a regulated platform. Roobaroo is the smallest delivered shape we take on: a single marketing site, scoped and shipped in a fixed week. It belongs in this case study set because it documents the lower edge of what we ship, and because the restraint of the brand is closer to the studio's own taste than any of our other public surfaces.

If you are evaluating us for a marketing site, this is the reference point. We do not take on marketing site work as a standalone offering at the Systems scale; we do take it on for clients we already know.

Ankit Sahu, founder of Kinyoubi Atelier & Co., attests to the authenticity of this engagement. Where the client is redacted, identity is held under NDA and can be confirmed under mutual non disclosure. Technical artefacts, unredacted, are available to qualified buyers under NDA on request.
